Using an IVUS minimum lumen area (MLA) of 4.0 mm2 at 6 months of follow-up as the primary endpoint in their analysis, the authors report that the post-intervention minimum stent area (MSA) of > 5.7 mm2 best predicts a 6-month MLA > 4.0 mm2 (area under curve = 0.815; 95% CI 0.680.95; p < 0.001, with a sensitivity and specificity of 80%).
